Our Workshops & Retreats Our workshops cover a wide range of topics important to the development of independent young women.
Womenkind A three-day (two night) self-discovery workshop for college aged girls (18-22). The process will focus on each young woman’s transition to self-reliance, and personal fulfillment. Topics include life purpose, relationships, sexuality, and living with integrity.
The Mother-Daughter Journey A three-day (two night) relationship-building workshop for mothers and daughters. The workshop will take them on an experiential journey of exercises that are designed to open communication, re-build trust, and create new guidelines for their relationship.
Beauty Within A full day workshop that offers a new awareness for women/girls who want to look good, feel great, and live well. Topics include developing an authentic self image, and living with personal integrity.
Personal Path Program Eight weeks of intensive personal development workshops that lead each girl to a clear vision of their future; improved communication skills, better relationships, and higher self-esteem. There will be a maximum of 10 participants in each work group. Workshops run 2-3 hours once a week as an after-school program.
Self Discovery Retreat Five days (four nights) in an off-site retreat. Targeted for girls who have disconnected with their families and themselves. Girls who have low self-esteem or problems with family/friend relationships. Starting at 7th grade and continuing each year through high school each girl will build her self worth and define her goals for her future.
